How to get

  By bus

  From any location, take the bus to São Sebastião and get off on the ferry to Ilhabela. When crossing to the island, follow the sidewalk (which will turn left) for 100m. You can take buses to the following destinations: Vila (direct), Armação or Itaguaçú. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs R$5.00. The bus departure interval varies according to the day of the week and time of day. Get off at the Igreja Matriz stop, head in the same direction as the bus and take the second street on the right – Rua São Benedito. Hostel da Vila is located at number 202, at the end of the street, after the bridge, on the right.

  By car

  Leaving the ferry, go straight ahead and turn left at the roundabout, you will see signs indicating Vila. Go straight ahead for 7km. You will arrive at the Igreja Matriz. Go up the street to the left of the Church and follow the curve to the left. After passing Santa Casa de Misericórdia, turn right onto Rua São Benedito.   About the Ferry

  To get to Ilhabela, you need to take the ferry, which leaves from São Sebastião and takes approximately 20 minutes. The ferry departs every half hour in both directions, every day from 05:00 to 24:00. At dawn, the route is carried out every hour. Pedestrians do not pay, while cars and motorcycles are charged a crossing fee defined by the company Dersa, responsible for the crossing.
